On 27th August, 2001 at the SDK gompa, Jhado Tulku Rinpoche, the former abbot of Namgyal Monastery, (the private monastery of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and depository of the Kalachakra Tantra) inaugurated Buddhadharma activity, with a ten day course, giving the oral commentary transmission on Kalachakra Guru Yoga in Conjunction with Six-Session Practice composed by Ling Rinpoche

Dharma activities devoted to the Kalachakra Tantra:

• Direct translation of the Tibetan root texts in Italian and English and their publication.
• Specific teachings on the Kalachakra Tantra and Tantrayana.
• Practice group on the Six Session Kalachakra Guru Yoga at the SDK gompa, with monthly meetings, in accordance with other Kalachakra practice groups worldwide.
• Teachings on the rituals and practices
• Developing written, audio and video archives.
• Bibliographies in English and Italian
• Tibetan Root Texts.  

At the present, Kalachakra teachings are given by Ven. Jhado Tulku Rinpoche. The Italian translations in are made by Andrea Capellari. The cultural activities are edited by Alessandro Bracci. The association's symbol, representing the stupa of Kalachakra, was an auspicious gift from Jhado Tulku Rinpoche, who expressed words of appreciation for the SDK foundation and offered his support for SDK Dharma teaching activities
