ShrìDhànyaKataka
is not a Dharma Centre but a cultural association formed by practitioners of Buddhadharma who have initiated a Dharma project based on the Kalachakra Tantra.

The purpose of this project is to provide practitioners, who want to practise this path, the tools needed to deepen their knowledge of the Kalachakra Tantra in a gradual manner and above all to be consistent with a pure Dharma transmission, all under the guidance and supervision of a qualified Master, namely Jhado Tulku Rinpoche, ex-abbot of Namgyal Monastery.

The motivation of the SDK's founders is built on altruism and devotion for the Buddhadharma. There is no financial motivation, which is why we choose to operate as a non-profit association.

For this reason the association is supported by membership contributions and donations. The donations support the masters, translators, Buddhadharma courses, and publication costs . ShrìDhànyaKataka will, therefore, be able to exist and progress, thanks to the support of its members.

It is important to know that the accomplishment of every Dharma project, from the organisation of the teachings to the translations, revisions and corrections, is the result of hard work involving years of study and research.

The name ShrìDhànyaKataka (tib. Palden Dre Pung) was given by the Ven. Geshe Ciampa Gyatso, and is the name of the place where the Buddha Shakyamuni revealed himself as Kalachakra, and gave the first teachings on the Kalachakra Tantra to Suchandra, King of Shambhala

I pray that this Dharma Project extends to and benefits all sentient beings, encouraging the spread of a Buddhist spirituality which rests on the foundations of peace and universal harmony.

Dr. Alessandro Bracci
Chairman of ShrìDhànyaKataka
